Ghost and Spirit Communication Through Dreams

Spirits may use several different ways to try and communicate with the living. Apparitions, EVP (electronic voice phenomenon), EMF (electyro-magnetic field), scents, interrupting service with appliances in your home, just to name a few.

Spirit communication through dreams is another. Communication in this manner is alot less frightening. I have found that many of us have experienced this, and most of the time the spirit is of a friend or family member trying to get a message through to us. Dreams normally can be difficult to analyze. There are tons of books written about dreams and their meaning, however the two experiences that I had were very easy to understand.

When I was 10 years old (46 years ago), my grandfather passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. I was extremely close to him and at that point in my life, I had never been involved with death so his passing really traumatized me. About a week after his passing he came to me in a dream. In the dream he looked so healthy and happy. Much more so than when he was living. He told me that he had came back just to assure me that he was okay. The dream was so different than any dream that I had experienced before. It was much more vivid and as clear to me today than it was 46 years ago. A few weeks later he returned back to again reassure me that he was okay. A few months later, again he appeared, except this time he told me that he knew now that I was going to be fine and that he would not be back. After that I never dreamed about or heard from him again.

My next experience happened in 2008. My best friend died as a result of neglecting to go to a dentist for an infected tooth. When he finally did go it was too late, the infection had spread all over his body. The last day that I saw him, we had had a disagreement over something really stupid. After learning of his passing I really took it hard that our last day together was spent being mad over something really stupid. About 2 weeks after his death, he came to me in a dream, again to reassure me that he was okay and to never again leave someone while you are mad at them. Again he appeared so healthy looking. He also asked me to tell his wife that he was okay.

Both events that I had experienced involved me being in a state to where I was really bothered by their passing. Both events involved the passing of someone that was really special to me, and both times after the dream I was left feeling at peace. These dreams did not have a "haunting" effect whatsoever, instead they left me feeling warm and reassured.

Since then I have made it a point to research "spirits communicating with us through dreams". One thing that really stuck out with me was, just about in every case it involved a loved one and it involved the spirits trying to reassure us that everything was okay. When you get down to it, whether spirits actually exist or not is not important. It's how the event leaves you feeling afterward. If you have experienced these dreams yourself, you already have an opinion about whether spirits exist and no one is going to change your opinion.
